Dutch pianist Bob Wijnen (1971) may be described in two words: infinitely versatile. He will lay down his skills just as effortlessly on the piano, as on the many synthesizers, the Fender Rhodes or the Hammond organ.
Having received his masters degree in jazz piano, with honors, at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, he has become an active performer in the jazz and funk /

soul / r&b scene and has toured Indonesia (playing on the prestigious Java Jazz Festival), the USA, and Iceland.

Wijnen can be heard on the CD’s Maygus (Double Moon Records), Sanna van Vliet - Insight (Munich Records) and Klemens Marktl Quartet ft Jasper Blom - The Challenge (Jazz’n’Arts) and the soon to be released new Maygus album, featuring Norwegian trumpet icon Nils Petter Molvaer.
